Visit Country Club Estates, Lake Washington and the Burke Gilman Trail! We are so happy to see springtime arrive in Western Washington. With the nicer weather we are seeing more people walking and biking around the community at Country Club Estates. Soon we will be visiting the surrounding lakes and mountains and enjoying all that the Pacific North West has to offer. Our community is in a fantastic location, close to everywhere you want to be. Just a short drive to both Seattle and Bellevue, it is easy to take advantage of all that city life has to offer. Here at Country Club, we feel a little bit more country, we are located near big trees and wonderful recreation. We are surrounded by mountain views, and located a short 5 minute drive from Lake Washington.
When you are visiting our community, stop at The Burke Gilman Trail, it is a great place to take the family. This amazing trail is perfect for walkers, runners, cyclists, and skaters, and spans from the city of Seattle through neighboring cities of Lake Forest Park, and Kenmore all the way to the city of Bothell where it intersects with the Sammamish River. This trail is part of the Interurban trail system and is a must see. If you are looking for a short flat walk, or a much more intense workout, this trail has you covered with nearly 27 miles of flat fully paved trail and multiple access points all along the way.
When you live at Country Club Estates, you will want to take that five minute drive to view Lake Washington at Log Boom Park. With a playground for the kids, fantastic views of the lake, and a dock for your boating and fishing needs, this park has it all. This park is also a fantastic access point to the Burke Gilman Trail, in Kenmore, at the bottom of 61st Avenue. The locals lovingly refer to this road as “Cat Whiskers Drive”, and it passes right by our community.
